Honor 90 Series Spearheaded with Non-cropped 200MP Primary Cameras — DCS Reports

Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, notable offerings from the Chinese manufacturer in 2022, garnered considerable acclaim for their impressive camera setups incorporating 200MP ISOCELL HP3 sensors. However, for reasons unknown, they capped the resolution to 160MP. That’s allegedly changing in 2023.

According to reputable leak-star Digital Chat Station, the company has some changes in store for the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro. His claim addresses the duo’s camera setup stating the phones will retain the same primary camera optics as their predecessors but will now fully utilize the 200 MP capability.

The update raises expectations for improved imaging capabilities in the upcoming devices. The warm-up advertisement phase for the duo has already begun, and the company has officially slated the date for the series launch.

The Pro variant is rumored to draw power from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and accompanying the phone will be a curved 1224p display and support for blazing-fast 90W fast charging. On the other hand, the Honor 90 intends to offer a still-impressive 66W charging capability.
