Vivo Y36 Certified by Google Play Console; Serves 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 680 SoC

Vivo gears up to roll out another mid-range smartphone to the market. Google Play Console’s updated database confirms the oncoming device has the model number V2247 and the moniker “Vivo Y36.” The listing verifies the handset’s imminent launch alongside revealing some pertinent details about it.

Previously corroborated by Geekbench and now by Google Play Console, Vivo Y36 sports a Snapdragon 680 Chipset — an octa-core chip based on 6nm processing and architecture with four cores Kryo 265 Gold (Cortex-A73) at 2400 MHz and four cores Kryo 265 Silver (Cortex-A53) at 1900 MHz.

Integrated with SoC is an Adreno 610 GPU providing comparatively average performance in terms of graphics. Alongside the CPU, Vivo Y36 will carry a minimum of 4GB RAM, likely paired with 128Gigs of storage. Additionally, it has the company’s lightweight UI FunTouch OS 13 combined with Google’s latest Android 13.

Folks over at Geekbench tested the 8GB RAM variant of the device recently and shared the results publicly on their website. The phone draws 410 points on the single-core and 1343 points on the multi-core test. The Vivo mobile price in the market has been consistently competitive, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
