Vivo Y78 Certified By TENAA; Reveals Snapdragon 695 Chip, and 50MP Camera

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is set to release its newest addition to the Y-series lineup, the Vivo Y78. This device has recently been spotted on the Google Play Console and has just received the green light from China’s regulatory body, TENAA.

Interestingly, TENAA has unveiled numerous exciting details about Vivo Y78. Most importantly, the listing uncovers the phone’s design with the display of colorless renders. It has a slab-like build with no curves and a megas two-lens camera setup.

From the specifications revealed by TENAA, Vivo Y78 will sport a high-end 6.64-inch LCD FHD+ screen with a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. It will draw power from a 2.2GHz octa-core SoC, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. The phone packs a 4900mAh cell on the rear end to energize the CPU.

As for its camera system, the newcomer will have an 8MP front-facing unit and a 50MP primary sensor with a 2MP secondary sensor on the rear camera module.
